BRYAN
Bryan is one of my favorite humans. He's from Aberdeen, WA. He started following his passion 25 years ago. At a certain point it was unsustainable for him to keep following it unless he got a job with a huge corporation where he would have to compromise some things about his passion. He was very successful. Three years ago he signed with a new company where he doesn't have to compromise his passion much, if at all. Sunday night he did the equivalent of winning the World Series. He got to celebrate with his wife and kids in front of over 50,000 people. I am extremely happy for him. Yay Bryan!This is Bryan. He's from Aberdeen, WA. THE WORD OF THE DAY IS MISCOMMUNICATION
AT TIMES WHEN OUR MINDS ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH STABILIZATION

FRIENDS AND BOOKS ARE GOOD FOR YOUR FACE #1: ROMANCE LANGUAGE EDITION
Today I was hanging out with friends and we were talking to each other with our faces. The topic of Romance languages and why certain words that mean the same thing in Spanish and Italian come from different Latin roots came up. As someone who is deeply interested in etymology I was extremely excited to talk about it. After a bit of discussion I looked at my phone to see if there was a website with some examples. Almost immediately, I realized I had a book from one of my linguistics courses in college specifically about this topics so I went and grabbed it and gave it to my friend Amy. I enjoy when we can connect with each other without our faces in our devices. They are certainly useful, but it was incredibly fulfilling to be able to do that.
